I guess my story with hair loss and Provillus for Men isn’t really that out of the ordinary or even that much different from millions of other men around the world. I started to show the classic signs of DHT hair loss. Visible thinning at the top and sides of my crown and significant hair shedding. I was losing hair and my follicles couldn’t keep up with the rate of hair loss.
To be honest I was expecting to fight hair loss at some stage. Men in my family tend to lose their hair fairly early on in life. Thank the hormones for that one. Although never what you would call a “hairy specimen” I did always have a fairly full head of hair. By my mid 40’s that had started to change dramatically and there was noticeable hair loss and hair thinning. Fearing some underlying medical condition I scheduled a visit with my GP and had a whole barrage of tests done.

The tests revealed that there was no serious underlying condition (Thank God) and that my hair loss was down to excesses of Dihydrotestosterone in my system – DHT for short. You can read more about DHT in our hair loss articles, but suffice it to say that as far as hair is concerned, DHT is a definite No-No. I needed an effective DHT Blocker which is exactly what Provillus for Men is (although I didn’t know about this as the time).
Granted, there was no serious underlying medical condition to cause concern, but like most human beings, I have a degree of vanity. If there was a way to reverse the hair loss, I wanted in. What I will say is that within 3 months of using Provillus, my hair loss has been virtually eliminated. I am seeing significant hair re-growth, particularly on my crown. Much thicker and much “richer” feeling hair. You know the way the Shampoo ads make you “think” you hair will feel? That’s how my hair ACTUALLY feels.
For me, the real test has been what I call the “comb test”. Before using Provillus for Men, my comb would go through my hair pretty much like going through thin air (which to an extent it was). After starting with Provillus, I can actually feel my comb in my hair. Not fluff or weak wispy hair. Real hair that takes a real comb. It’s getting to the stage where my barber is charging me for a full hair-cut again and believe me, I don’t mind the extra cost.
I look better and knowing I look better, I feel better, and that’s no small thing.

Hair loss isn’t really anything more than a vanity thing, but given a choice I would rather not have to live with it. Provillus has virtually eliminated my hair loss and my hair is think and strong again. Worth a look in my book.
My problem with hair loss started a few years ago, but only really became noticeable just after I turned 50.
